I believe that emerging issues in collective behavior are always changing. What we think could be important in a certain issue, could change in the next year. Humans are unpredictable and will forever do things we ourselves will never be able to explain. Each individual has something they think is the answer to all problems. when I look at group behavior such as gangs and cults, i don't first off think deviance i see diversity. Although there is problems with in each group, without diverse individuals the world would not exist. I believe the aftermath or the end result of certain problems should be focused on more. working backwards to figure out the roots, instead of making a hypothesis and being wrong seems to be a more logical research method to me.
To understand cults and gangs I believe it is crucial to find out the driving force in joining these groups of rebellion. Collective behavior is what runs and shapes our lives and the world we live in, understanding this is crucial for the human existence.
